Innovative Three-Year Doctor of Pharmacy Program

The 91㽶Pharmacy School will prepare you to become the pharmacist of the future, fulfilling the increasing demand for pharmacists capable of providing a broader range of patient care services. As one of the few pharmacy schools in the country offering a three-year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree located on an academic medical center, MCW’s Pharmacy School will provide you with the experience you need to be an innovator and an advocate for providing greater access to primary and preventative care for patients. You’ll gain early and extensive exposure to a variety of clinical settings and world-class research across a range of specialties.

During clinical rotations at Children’s Wisconsin, pharmacy students gain experience performing calculations for body weight or body surface area dosing, assist with total parenteral nutrition and more.

Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center

Pharmacy students gain experience in the VA’s unique practice setting, where pharmacists have a scope of practice allowing them to independently prescribe medications.

At MCW, you can earn your Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in 6 years through the Undergraduate Dual-Degree Program. The 91㽶School of Pharmacy has dual-degree partnerships with 13 Wisconsin institutions.
